Text Changes
The Copeland Local Plan 2001 - 2016 2nd Deposit Version proposes changes to be made to the 1st Deposit of the Plan.
These changes are proposed after careful consideration has been given to representations made in response to the 1st Deposit Version of the plan, the Sustainability Appraisal, changes to central Government guidance and the emerging Cumbria Joint Structure Plan (www.planningcumbria.org.uk) and Regional Spatial Strategy (www.nwra.gov.uk)

The proposed changes to the Plan are shown clearly in red underlined text:
- example of changes within the documents - this is not changed, this has been changed
Text the Council proposes to delete from the Plan is shown by use of a strike through:
- example of deletion within the documents - this remains, this has been deleted
Amended Appendices and Maps can be access via the links on each page. Only maps which are relevant to highlight the proposed changes to the Proposals Map of the 1st Deposit Version of the Plan are published in the 2nd Deposit Version.
