Local Plan Issues Report
The Copeland Local Plan 2001 was adopted in June 1997 as work progressed the first stage in the replacement process saw the publication of an Issues Report.
The Copeland Local Plan Issues Report, published in November 2001 highlighted the different aspects of key topics affecting the Borough and was designed to provide interested bodies and the general public the opportunity to express their opinions and ideas.
The Issues Report went on public consultation between 29th November 2001 and 31st January 2002, although all responses received to the end of February 2002 were taken into account.
