Sport Action Zone programmes are constantly being developed, enhanced and expanded. Many of the initiatives have been funded directly through Sport Action Zone, in partnership with other organisations and complimentary funding streams.

Many more smaller projects have emerged as a result of the initial larger, strategic Sport Action Zone Programmes.

Each of the projects aims at tackling issues surrounding social inclusion, education, regeneration, community safety and health, using physical activity as a catalyst.

Further information about the activities undertaken are featured in 'The Zone' newsletter [view]
