Planning a Visit

The Beacon is undergoing a total refurbishment and the main museum floors will be closed until 5th October 2007.

 

Familiarisation visit

If you are planning an educational visit, please telephone to arrange a complimentary familiarisation visit, through which you can get to know the staff, building and see at first hand the objects on show or the activity session you wish to order.

Familiarisation visits are available for two teachers/leaders from each organisation or school and we recommend you take them at least two weeks before your planned visit.

Whatever your educational requirement it is always best to give us a ring to discuss your visit and arrange a provisional booking.
